Core Feature Tutorials & Workflows

Detailed walkthroughs for our three major workflows: Photo Selection events, Live AI Photo Sharing, and Digital Flipbook E-Albums.

1. How to Manage a Photo Selection Event

Give your clients a seamless, Tinder-like swiping experience to select their favorite images. No more PDF proofs or spreadsheet lists.

The Step-by-Step Flow:

  1. Create the Event: Go to the dashboard, click Create Event under Photo Selection, name it, link a customer, and select watermark/compression properties.
  2. Organize Folders: Build sub-folders (e.g., "Sangeet", "Wedding", "Reception") to keep your shoot structured.
  3. Set Quota Constraints: Set minimum and maximum selection limits for folders. This guarantees clients select exactly the number of images contracted in their package.
  4. Upload & Compress: Drag and drop your photos. Our uploader automatically runs canvas-based compression in the background to speed up your upload.
  5. Share selection link: Send the auto-generated link to the client via our built-in WhatsApp or SMS templates.
  6. Auto-Sorting & Download: When the client completes their selection, you will receive a notification. Go to the event page, filter by "Selected", and download the filename index or download a ZIP archive containing only the chosen images.
🛡️
Watermark Pro Tip: Watermarks are applied dynamically as a CSS overlay on the client preview interface. Your original uploaded photo remains clean and unaltered in storage, enabling easy edits and clean high-res downloads!

2. How to Run Live AI Photo Sharing

Deliver personalized digital galleries to guests at live events instantly using our state-of-the-art AI Face Recognition engine.

The Step-by-Step Flow:

  1. Enable AI sharing: Create or edit an event and toggle the "AI Photo Sharing" option to Enabled.
  2. Display QR Codes: Click the QR code icon next to the event to download and print it. Display these QR boards around the event venue.
  3. Guest selfie registration: Guests scan the QR code, verify their mobile number with a WhatsApp OTP, type their name, and capture a selfie to map their face model.
  4. Upload Shoots: Upload raw photos from your camera throughout the event.
  5. Background Matching: The system enqueues the photos. The Python facial recognition engine checks, encodes, and matches guest selfies to photos containing their face.
  6. WhatsApp delivery: Matched guests receive an instant WhatsApp alert containing their personal photo gallery link.

3. How to Design and Deliver E-Albums

Replace boring PDF spreads with beautiful, interactive, three-dimensional digital flipbooks that include music.

The Step-by-Step Flow:

  1. Create E-Album: Navigate to E-Albums, click New E-Album, select the client, and name the album.
  2. Upload Spreads: Drag and drop your album sheets into the editor.
  3. Assign Sheet Types: Categorize your pages into `front` (Front Cover), `back` (Back Cover), `first`, `last`, and `inner` spreads. This dictates how the flipbook engine turns the pages.
  4. Add Background Audio: Open the Music dialog and choose a romantic or upbeat soundtrack to accompany the flipbook visualization.
  5. Delivery: Share the flipbook URL. Clients can interactively flip pages using drag gestures on mobile or clicks on desktop.

Upload Concurrency Pro Tip: Our uploader has a concurrency limit of **5 simultaneous uploads** to ensure your browser doesn't freeze. If your internet disconnects temporarily, the queue auto-retries failed uploads **3 times** with a **3-second delay** before pausing!
